Gang ped, in general, is cooking curry paste in coconut milk and with a mixture of meat and vegetables. There are several varieties of Gang Ped. The most famous Gang Ped is red curry, but Thai people also enjoy green curry, yellow curry, and masaman curry.

Start with coconut milk and curry paste in a wok or pot. The mixture is then heated up until red oil starts to bubble up. The vegetable and meat are added and then quickly stirred to coat the mixture on the meat and vegetable. Then the rest of coconut and the water (or diluted coconut) and fish sauce is added.
