Fish Paste
Fish paste can be found at an oriental grocery. It usually comes in a plastic container, 3 inch x 4 inch x 3 inch. Choose the one that has only fish as ingredient. Some have other seasonings such as spices, sugar etc. Try to use the fish paste the day you buy it because it does not keep for very long.
Frozen fish paste from Thailand is also available.
